I just had the same exact issue on the same exact phone. after doing some digging it seems like this happens when android has a problem optimizing one or more apps, so it stubbornly retries all of them. so i uninstalled apps one-by-one and rebooted, and the problem went away after uninstalling supersu.. Learn easiest way to fix android is starting... problem or optimizing app 1 of 1 issue. so, there are 2 solution for this issue solution no. 1- go to settings apps find truecaller uninstall. It should pass the android is starting screen now. if in case, wiping the cache doesn’t help, then try doing a factory reset from recovery. but know that factory resetting the phone will wipe.
My lg stylo was automatically updated to android marshmallow. now the first time i've restarted the phone, with the sd card in, it will not restart. it either says its optimizing app 1 of 2 or 2 of 2, but mostly it just stays on the tmobile logo and will never start up after hours of letting it do its thing..
